Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge in Warsaw (until 2011 Northern Bridge ) - a bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw along the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge Route. It was opened in March 2012 (the third part of the bridge, with tram tracks, a bicycle path and a sidewalk, opened in January 2013). It is the northernmost river crossing in the capital. It has two carriageways with three lanes in each direction, sidewalks, bicycle paths and tram tracks. The crossing is part of the urban section of the national road No. 61
The width of the river in the place is about 650 m. On the west bank of the Vistula, the bridge is at the extension of al. gen. Maria Wittek, and on the eastern side of al. General Ryszard Kuklinski. This is the second crossing in Warsaw, after the Świętokrzyski Bridge, which will go down to the ground level on the banks. In Białołęka , the route runs above ground, as in Bielany, where the route passes over Wisłostrada. The most complicated intersection in Warsaw was built here.
